How to Control a Fog or Haze Machine From the Fox/Haze Controller in Disco
To Control a Fog Machine or Hazer from Disco can be done in both Programming and Playback Mode. The Fog Controller can be found on the bottom left half of the Disco Screen shown as number 4 below.
The fog controller has a timer to automatically press the fog button for every interval of time, or the fog button can be pressed manually when fog is desired. The rate or force at which the fog is output is set by the fog intensity slider. The illustration below show the Fog controllers functionality.
For the fog/Haze controller to work, the fog machine that is patched must have a channel name of, Fog. If you are building your own fog fixture profile, make sure to use the proper name for the fog control channel. In the fixture editor below the channel name that activate the fog controller are highlighted.
