How to Sync a Buttons Speed to the Beat of the Song Playing

Sequence Buttons have an audio input option that allows for the Sequence button to change steps according to the tempo from the Beat Detector. When the speaker icon on the right bottom corner of the button is green the Sequence will change steps according to the speed from the music input or the manual beat tap tempo.

The Beat Detector has several features that help produce the best results when running the show speed according to tempo. Below is a graphic showing the features.

Running the Audio in Mode: To run the Beat Detect in Audio in Mode, first select the audio device we are getting the audio signal from the Sound Device List Box. Make sure your Windows Mixer is turned up get the audio input from the selected device. Next Press the Starts Audio In button, this will start analyzing the sound coming in and accessing the BPM. From The settings menu we can optimize the best response by setting Music Type, and Trigger type. Trigger type has two options. Adjust Per Trigger which will give a very quick slowdown once a beat stops, or Automatic Trigger with Average which will always maintain an average. The Threshold can also be adjusted to adjust automatically or manually.

Running Manual Tap Mode: Simply tap the BMP button to the music about 6 to 10 times. The Tempo will Continue at the rate determined until the BPM button is pressed again.

Adjusting Tempo Manually: The tempo can be changed manually by moving the Manual Tempo Slider to the Desired Speed.

Remember only sequence Buttons with the Audio Icon green will respond to the Beat Detect.
